Description

Folio 239: Sir John Norris to Duke of Newcastle. Glad the King approved of his conduct over the packet-boats. The Portuguese Court do not like him, because he resists all their efforts to involve Great Britain in a war with Spain on their behalf. Portuguese reinforcements for Rio de Janeiro and Nova Colonia. News from Gibraltar and Morocco, and his comments thereon.
