Folio 156: Sir John Norris and Lord Tyrawly to Duke of Newcastle. Account of two interviews with Secretary of State and one with the King, in which he formally states he accepts the joint-mediation of England, France, and the States-General, since Spain has done so. Enclose a copy of Keene's last letter from Madrid (f.164). Since King George II at Hanover has expressly left the whole direction of this mediation to the Queen at London, they are not sending duplicates of their dispatches to Hanover.
Date and place: 1735 Sept 23 and 16/27 Lisbon.
