Folio 211: Lord Tyrawly to Duke of Newcastle. Arrest of English sailors at Philadelphia who had absconded with a Portuguese ship and cargo. Portuguese claim for restitution which is justified, although the legal limit of a year and a day has elapsed. Still being warmly pressed by the Jesuit [Carbone] about his status being raised to ambassador and hopes Newcastle will get a favourable decision from the King.
