Folio 134: Lord Tyrawly to [Charles Delafaye]. Refers him to his letter to Newcastle of Sept. 22 (f.40) for `a curious and most extraordinary account of a Court, and a very just and true one'. Complains of want of support from the home government who are far too soft with the Portuguese and let them ride roughshod over the English Treaty privileges. Is fed up with Lisbon and has often asked Newcastle for a transfer but in vain. Will celebrate King George's birthday in the best manner possible.
Date and place: 1730 Nov 12 Lisbon.
