Folio 98: Charles Compton to Duke of Newcastle. Six of H.M.S. Lively's men released with their boat, but four still detained, as explained by Mendonça Corte-Real. Latter has promised to curb the stone-throwing mobs and hopes Admiralty will take similar steps to curb aggressive British sailors.
