Folio 64: Lord Tyrawly to Duke of Newcastle. Very detailed description of his interview with Mendonça Corte-Real over the counterfeit Admiralty passes and how best to handle the prosecution of the Irish involved at Lisbon. Although he himself has always privately advocated taking a tough line with the Portuguese, he is scrupulously obeying his orders to be tactful, and he claims to be in good standing with both King John V and Mendonça Corte-Real.
