Folio 18: Duke of Newcastle to Charles Compton. Acknowledge his letter of Feb. 11 (f.10) and has shown it to the King and the Admiralty, but latter do not wish to send him the pass-forms. Encloses Advocate-General's opinion (f.20) on the position of Huguenots naturalised as British subjects. He is authorised to continue his efforts on their behalf.
