Folio 271: Duke of Newcastle to Lord Tyrawly and Sir John Norris. Encloses extracts of his correspondence with Keene at Madrid over the Rio de la Plata incident (wanting). Pacific reassurances given by the Spanish government concerning this affair and the seizure of two Portuguese ships. King of Portugal to be informed immediately and asked to send similar orders to avoid hostilities to the Portuguese governors in Brazil.
