Folio 126: Duke of Newcastle to Lord Tyrawly. Reiterates Queen's approbation in the joint letter (f.128) of his conduct in closely cooperating with Sir John Norris in dissuading King of Portugal from any rash or bellicose step. Sir John Norris has also written to Newcastle of the civilities and favours he has received from Tyrawly. His request for credentials as plenipotentiary and increased allowances has been referred to the King at Hanover for a decision.
