Folio 71: Duke of Newcastle to Lord Tyrawly. Has received his letters of Mar. 19, 21 and 25, which the King has seen. As the Portuguese Minister, Azevedo, will not arrive for another day or two, Newcastle cannot give a definite answer yet, beyond assurance of George II's great friendship for King of Portugal. If, as seems likely, Azevedo is coming to ask for naval help, Newcastle presumes same request is being made to the States-General who are bound by the same treaties `with regard to Portugal.'.
