Folio 275: Thomas Burnett to Duke of Newcastle. Encloses copies of correspondence with Tempest Milner and James Dormer (ff.276-278) concerning the entertainment he gave on King George II's coronation day and Dormer's rage thereat. Was also confidentially informed that if he gave the party, `Dormer would find a means to have me discomposed in the streets.' Virtually all the nobility came to his coronation party and he has invited them all again to another party, `in honour of the King of Portugal's birthday, which is tomorrow.'.
