Folio 268: James Dormer to Duke of Newcastle. Last minutes hitches in the signing of the double marriage contracts, but it is expected they will shortly be overcome, and the papal dispensation for one readily forthcoming. Rumoured that King Philip may abdicate in favour of Prince of Asturias. Other rumours at Madrid about relations with the Emperor. Court and naval news.
