Folio 198: James Dormer to Duke of Newcastle. Raising of the siege of Gibraltar and Admiral Sir Charles Wager's orders to his squadron to forbear all acts of hostilities for the future. Spanish ambassador, after some hesitation, has given orders to all Spanish ships in Portuguese ports to do the like, and Dormer has given reciprocal orders to British ships. Recent captures by Spanish privateers. French squadron gone against Algiers.
