Folio 187: Thomas Burnett to Duke of Newcastle. King of Spain has now signed the Peace Preliminaries and the siege of Gibraltar will probably be raised soon. Encloses copies of correspondence concerning the capture of the Providence by a Spanish privateer which he expects King of Portugal to reclaim from Court of Madrid (ff.189-90).
