Folio 161: Thomas Burnett to Duke of Newcastle. Siege of Gibraltar. Court news. Loss of the Lake to a Spanish privateer off Oporto and its recapture next day by a pink and arrival in Viana. Spaniards demand an embargo on the ship. Portuguese have ordered the raising of the embargo laid on the Irish prize at Setúbal, but will reclaim at Madrid for the restoration of the William. Celebration of the Prince of Brazil's birthday.
