Folio 132: Thomas Burnett to Duke of Newcastle. News from Gibraltar and Cadiz. News from Madrid and Paris indicating a war may yet be avoided. Hopes Royal Navy will soon provide protection against Spanish privateers. Encloses copies of correspondence with Dormer (ff.134-137) concerning the two prizes taken by the Spaniards and British demands to Portuguese government for their restitution. Report from Rome of a perfect reconciliation between the Pretender and Princess Sobieska.
