Folio 32: Thomas Burnett to James Dormer. Meat contractor's demand against British merchants on hides which have been cleared from Customs House. His protests against the same, hitherto ineffectual. Requests Dormer's support. Madeira affair has apparently been settled in favour of Mr Ryder, and he will press Secretary of State for a favourable order accordingly.
