Folio 219: Thomas Burnett to Duke of Newcastle. Effusive thanks for his letter of 22 Sept. Dormer has been more insulting to him than ever, not even offering him a chair when he went to see him and telling him that he would only receive information from him in writing, and not verbally, since he could not trust him, `that he neither thought it safe nor honourable for him to communicate with me, and that he had lived a life of honour as I had done of infamy.'.
