Folio 166: Arthur Sturt to Charles Delafaye. Effusive thanks for his patronage. Is getting on very well with Dormer, but does not need to ask his help, as all his old Portuguese friends are still in office and he can deal with them direct. But `the King indeed I find pretty much altered, as he now thinks himself wiser than anybody and is pretty violent and ungovernable.'.
