Folio 99: Thomas Burnett to Duke of Newcastle. Quarrel between Pope and Patriarch of Lisbon over breach of the immunities of the Italian Church of the Loreto at Lisbon. Patriarch has been virtually excommunicated by a Papal Brief, and although the matter is being kept very secret `this affair may run very great lengths' if Patriarch does not comply with Papal demand for restitution.
