Folio 53: Thomas Burnett to Duke of Newcastle. Composition of councils held in King's apartment. Count Tarouca, avoided meeting the truant Infante Dom Manuel (now on his way to Madrid) at Vienna, but had two private audiences with the Emperor and two conferences with Prince Eugène. Reported that a Portuguese treaty of commerce with Spain has been concluded and will shortly be ratified.
