Description

Folio 316: `The Humble Petition of the Merchants in London trading to Portugal to the King's most Excellent Majesty.' On behalf of the Factory at Oporto, comprising some 200 Protestant British subjects. They ask the King to secure the restoration of public worship for them, of which they were unjustly deprived in 1709. Endorsed: `Recd. Nov. 4, 1725.'.
