Folio 115: Thomas Burnett to Duke of Newcastle. Arrival of Mr Saunderson (cf. f.107). Three Maltese warships in port. Portuguese East-Indiaman overdue at Bahia and feared lost with all hands. French ambassador, Abbé de Livry has arrived but not assumed his functions owing to a quarrel with the Portuguese Secretary of State over a point of protocol.
