Folio 235: Thomas Burnett to Lord Carteret. As ordered, will send his dispatches to Hanover and duplicates to Robert Walpole. Investigation of charges against the young Count of Ericeira ex-Viceroy of Goa, captured by pirates in 1721. Recall of Count of Tarouca andDom Luis da Cunha, as they will not be admitted to Congress at Cambrai. Activities of Barbary pirates off the coast. Reinforcements preparing for Nova Colonia.
