King has ordered all envoys in foreign capitals to send regular news and intelligence for printing in the London Gazette to Mr [Temple] Stanyan at Carteret's office. He is also to send the Lisbon Gazette `and any other papers that you shall judge may afford proper matter for the Gazette.'.
