Folio 69: Thomas Lumley to Lord Carteret. Portuguese Court slightly uneasy about Spanish military dispositions on the frontier. Murder of the Marquis das Minas and its local repercussions. Portuguese Grand-Master of Malta has sent three warships to Lisbon to compliment King and ask for a contribution for the war against the Turks.
