Folio 124: Thomas Burnett to James Craggs. Detailed analysis of various Portuguese schemes for forming a Company for the Brazil and other colonial trades, none of which have yet come to anything, and seem unlikely to do so. Resulting speculations on the exchange ingold remittances and in bills of exchange. Spanish expedition probably destined for Ceuta after all. Recent reports of plague on the frontier (f.121) have proved groundless.
