Folio 101: Thomas Burnett to James Craggs. Spanish naval and military preparations, for what object is uncertain. Diplomatic privileges of Dutch Resident infringed, perhaps to pick a quarrel with Holland, which is unlikely unless Emperor has secretly agreed to support Portugal. The project of forming a Brazil Company has been revived, but he doubts it will come to anything.
