Will continue to press for the abolition of the twelve brokers, and for Protestant worship in the Oporto Factory on which he gives an extract from the Consul's latest letter. Two Portuguese imprisoned at Naples; for murdering an Englishman should be sent to Portugal for trial. Correspondence with Secretary of State over duty-free British naval stores. Henry Osland's deposition (f.131) repeated. Latest news from Oporto on Spanish and Jacobite activities. A Sardinian architect goes to England in the Falmouth packet.
