Folio 112: Henry Worsley to James Craggs. Fresh information of Spanish naval forces and of the Pretender's presence in Galicia. He agrees with those who think there is a secret understanding between the Courts of France and Spain. Thinks Portuguese are resolved to remain neutral, as indicated by the assignments of their principal diplomats. Unwarlike and pro-clerical character and attitude of King John V. Character of French ambassador. Swedish Colonel at Oporto has returned to Spain. Sends copies of Secretary of State's reply concerning the Spanish transports (f.100), his reply in relation to the twelve Brokers and King Philip's declaration of 27 April.
