Folio 94: Henry Worsley to James Craggs. Glad to hear of adequate British naval preparations against projected Spanish-Jacobite invasion. Reiterates former reports (ff.81-92). Royal reception of the Pretender at Madrid and Valladolid. Trouble over disposal of the wreck of H.M.S. Crown, and need to clarify responsibilities of local representatives of Navy Board and Victualling Office. Incident between Captain Purvis, R.N. and Spanish officers of a Spanish transport with Portuguese Secretary of State's memorandum (f.100). Need to strengthen packet-boats against Spanish privateers. Surprised that his news of projected Spanish invasion was first to reach Britain. Will forward the full powers received for Mr. Cavendish (f.108).
