Folio 194: Henry Worsley to James Stanhope. Portuguese-Spanish Peace Treaty now ratified by King John V. General satisfaction with it. Dom Luis da Cunha now accredited as Ambassador Extraordinary to Court of St. James. Recall of Cunha Brochado, who will be very influential after his return and thus of potential use "to the British Interest". Has protested with French and Dutch envoys against the attempt to channel all foreign trade through twelve brokers, as an infringement of peace treaties.
