Encloses copy of a letter from the Secretary of State concerning British mediation for the peace with Spain (f.144). His further discussion with the Secretary of State and Portuguese military preparations. Queen of Spain's dismissal of the Princesse d'Ursines (f.146). His comments thereon. Address from the Factory at Oporto to King George I and the covering letter they sent him (f.148).
