Folio 74: Henry Worsley to Lord Bolingbroke. Portuguese peace with Spain stalled, as Portuguese insist on British mediation. Arrival of French ambassador, the Abbé Morné, who knew Bolingbroke at Paris. Petition from English merchants at Coimbra and Figueira da Fozfor a Judge-Conservator. Hopes to get rid of the usual tax on wines exported by the English. His dispute with a local justice and satisfaction given him by the King.
