Folio 58: Henry Worsley to Lord Bolingbroke. Encloses papers (ff. 60-73) relating to the capture by an English privateer of a ship with French colours bound from Malta to the Holy Land, carrying a party of Franciscan friars with 50,000 cruzados in alms for Jerusalem. Ship had a passport from King of Portugal and Lord Galway, and the Portuguese Crown demands the restitution of the money. The seizure occurred in 1710.
