Folio 32: Henry Worsley to Lord Bolingbroke. Explains why he did not insist on a private audience but agreed to a public one (f.18). Portuguese now dropped their stiff attitude to Spain (f.22). French intrigues at Court. Asks for directions over protocol at royal audiences, this Court being the most ceremonial he has met. Will try to arrange regular communication with Cadiz. Need for a Judge-Conservator in Portugal. Position of British merchants in Spain.
