Folio 195: J. Conduit to Lord Dartmouth. As ordered by Lord Portmore, he recommends Joseph Haller to the Queen's consideration for revealing the secret negotiations and Major-General Hogan for promotion, who is in great disfavour with the Court of Portugal for having helped Haller to make his disclosures. Asks whether Portmore should give the Portuguese `the post of honour' (i.e. the right wing) in the Army if they demand it.
