Description

Folio 261: Thomas Leffever to Lord Dartmouth. News of the operations in Spain. Portuguese Court seems more in earnest about next campaign for which they are making preparations, but no offensive action will result unless powerful English reinforcements, subsidies, and supplies are sent, and placed under English command. Naval operations in the Straits and off Cadiz.
