Folio 119: Consul John Milner to Earl of Dartmouth. He drew up the Factory's memorial for the redress of grievances which was sent to Earl of Sunderland last year [wanting] (f.77), but does not know what decision, if any, was taken in London. Cromwell's Treaty of 1653 [= 1654] is still valid but is not well observed, and it should be renewed and reworded in Crown's name. Encloses another memorial relating to exercise of the Protestant religion (f.121).
Date and place: 1710 Aug 1 Lisbon.
