Folio 227: English merchants at Saphia to John Methuen. Emperor of Morocco has laid an embargo on English merchants and their goods until they restore some Moorish fugitives who escaped in an English ship belonging to John Whitton of Lisbon. Ask for Methuen's intervention to secure restitution.
