Folio 202: Consul John Milner to Sir Charles Hedges. Occupation of Madrid and proclamation of Charles III as King of Spain, whose actual whereabouts is uncertain. French pillage of Madrid. Attitude of grandees and nobles. Problem of the Factory will be explained byMr Tucker. Payment of consulage by foreigners. Methuen very ill `with a sort of rheumatism and gout'. King Pedro `very well and grown strong'. Bad condition of all save one of the packet-boats.
