Folio 190: John Methuen to Sir Charles Hedges. Looks as if Madrid will fall at any moment. Need to plan ahead in England now for the subsequent conduct of the war in Spain. King of Portugal's satisfaction with the captains of the Expedition and Gloucester who convoyed the Rio Fleet. 500 English seamen prisoners-of-war from Cadiz released in good health.
