Gunpowder for King of Portugal. Intelligence of French and Spanish naval movements from Cadiz. French and Spanish losses in siege of Gibraltar. Operations on the Alentejo front. King Pedro too ill to go to the front, but will not let the King of Spain go without him. Encloses a report (f.244) just received of the capture of Valencia by the Marquis das Minas.
