Description

Folio 93: [John Methuen] to [Secretary of State]. English and Dutch troops now all on the frontier and well fed and supplied. Reports of French and Spanish military dispositions. News from Madrid. Silver from the shipwrecked galleon in the Algarve (f.89) now arriving overland, but Governor of Buenos Ayres, a prisoner on parole at Faro, seems to have escaped. Movements of the English fleet. Release of Spanish prisoners.
