Folio 137: Charles Fanshaw to Earl of Sunderland. Pedro II still very reluctant to remarry. Bad news from Goa and Brazil, and great difficulty in fitting out a strong fleet for the former. Hopes Charles II's intercession for the Count of Castelmelhor will bear fruit shortly, as Pedro II seems favourably disposed. French diplomatic moves.
