Folio 126: Charles Fanshaw to Earl of Sunderland. He supports, as ordered, the idea of a French bride for King Pedro, but latter is very reluctant to consider remarrying until the year's mourning for late Queen is over in December. Will press for intercession for Count of Castelmelhor, as ordered. The Protestant chaplain at Oporto now officiating unobtrusively, but Portuguese unlikely to tolerate him officially.
