Folio 200: Consul Maynard to [Sir Leoline Jenkins]. Reiterates his complaints against ex-Vice Consul Murcott and the Roman Catholic members of the English Factory at Oporto. A big auto da fé fixed for next month. English merchants may get from the Inquisition most of what the New Christians owe them. Queen of Portugal's illness is probably fatal.
