Has petitioned for the raising of the sequestration on ships and goods, but has little hope of getting the confiscated bullion back in view of the legal position. French bullion smuggling condoned, possibly because of the Queen's intervention, or due to smaller amounts being involved. Possible suitors for the Infanta.
