Folio 166: Charles II and the Privy Council. `Order of Council for preparing such instruments and dispatches for Portugal as Mr Secretary Jenkins and Mr Parry shall judge most proper for securing the merchants estates, and setting their persons at liberty.' Relatesto the seizure of the ships Resolution and Grace & Susan, and imprisonment of their Factors at Lisbon on a charge of smuggling silver.
