Folio 148: Charles Fanshaw to Sir Leoline Jenkins. Treaty negotiations still delayed, as Portuguese give fair words but nothing concrete. Temporary imprisonment of a cavalry lieutenant for striking one of his lackeys. Friendly attitude of the Marquis d'Arronches from whom he encloses a letter for Don Pedro Ronquillo (Spanish ambassador in London).
